1. About Us

Chapel Candle creates and sells handmade candles and wax melts.

Our products are carefully made in small batches. Due to the handmade nature of our products, minor variations may occur between individual items. These differences are normal and do not affect the quality, safety, or performance of the product.
 

2. Product Information

We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, images, colours, fragrances, and details are accurate.

However, please be aware that:

  • Colours may vary slightly depending on screens and devices.

  • Handmade products may have small variations in appearance.

  • Fragrance strength may be experienced differently by each customer.

These variations do not constitute a fault.
 

3. Orders

When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase our products.

Your order will be confirmed by email. A contract between you and Chapel Candle is formed once we accept your order and confirm dispatch.

We reserve the right to cancel an order where:

  • A product is unavailable.

  • There has been an error in pricing or product information.

  • We suspect fraudulent activity.

  • We are unable to fulfil the order for legitimate reasons.

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, you will receive a full refund.
 

4. Pricing and Payment

All prices displayed on our website are in UK pounds sterling (£).

We reserve the right to update prices at any time. Price changes will not affect orders that have already been accepted.

Payment must be received in full before your order is dispatched.

Payments are processed securely through our approved payment providers.
 

5. Delivery

We currently deliver within the United Kingdom only.

Orders are usually dispatched within 1–3 working days. Delivery times may vary depending on the courier service selected.

Once your order has been dispatched, responsibility for delays caused by the courier rests with the delivery provider. However, we will always do our best to assist with any delivery issues.

Please ensure your delivery details are correct when placing your order. We cannot be responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect information provided by the customer.
 

6. Returns and Refunds

We want you to be happy with your Chapel Candle purchase.

If your item arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order.

Please provide:

  • Your name

  • Order number

  • Details of the issue

  • Clear photographs of the product, packaging, and shipping label where relevant

For hygiene and safety reasons, candles and wax melts must be unused and in their original condition to be eligible for return unless the product is faulty.

If a return is approved, we will provide instructions on how to proceed.

If you are returning an item due to a change of mind, you are responsible for the cost of returning the item to us.

Where a product is faulty, damaged, or incorrectly supplied, we will work with you to provide an appropriate resolution.

These terms do not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
 

7. Candle and Wax Melt Safety

Our products are designed to be enjoyed safely when used correctly.

Customers must follow all safety instructions provided with our products and on our website.

This includes:

  • Never leaving a burning candle unattended.

  • Keeping candles away from children, pets, and flammable materials.

  • Using candles on suitable heat-resistant surfaces.

  • Following recommended burn times.

  • Using wax melts only with suitable wax burners.

Chapel Candle cannot accept responsibility for damage, injury, or loss caused by misuse, failure to follow safety instructions, or use of products outside their intended purpose.
 

8. Handmade Product Disclaimer

Our products are handmade in small batches.

Natural variations may occur, including:

  • Slight differences in colour

  • Minor surface imperfections

  • Differences in fragrance appearance or texture

These characteristics are part of handmade production and do not affect product performance.
 

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including:

  • Brand names

  • Logos

  • Images

  • Photography

  • Product descriptions

  • Written content

belongs to Chapel Candle or is used with permission.

You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, or use our content without prior written permission.
